Clarence House goes 'Royal Blue' for World Diabetes Day
This year Clarence House turned blue for the first time to mark World Diabetes Day and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall's Presidency of JDRF.
Clarence House joined landmarks across the UK and the rest of the world in marking the day. We went along to deliver a giant card full of your World Diabetes Day messages to HRH. Here are some of our photos.
World Diabetes Day - your photos
Here are some of the fabulous photos we received of you lot 'going blue'. There are also a few from JDRF head office's fortnight of World Diabetes Day activities.
World Diabetes Day is marked every year on 14 November by organisations around the globe
We are asking supporters like you to ‘Go Blue' for World Diabetes Day and hold an activity during November to raise vital funds for research into the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications.
This year we are aiming to help tackle lack of awareness of type 1 diabetes within schools. We aim to raise £35,000 this World Diabetes Day, which could enable us to make sure that every senior school has an understanding of type 1 and what they can do to help.
How you can help
This World Diabetes Day we want to raise:
£35,000
This money could enable us to make sure that there is a schools pack available for every secondary school, and give children an opportunity to support those with type 1 through their fundraising.
Just £20 would mean we could reach 2,000 secondary school children with information, and offer them the opportunity to understand type 1, and support the children in their school who live with it. £200 would do the same for a whole education authority.
'Go Blue' for JDRF
What you do is entirely up to you. From getting everyone to wear a blue tie in the office for the day through to doing a sky dive, you can 'Go Blue' whatever way best suits you.

And don't forget, whatever you raise will be helping fund vital resarch into type 1 diabetes. If you raise £60 you'll be helping fund an hour of resarch. If you raise £450 you could help fund one of our projects for a whole day. Find out more about what your money could help fund.
So whether you have a blue cake sale, hold a blues night or dye your hair, you'll be giving hope to the thousands of people affected by type 1 diabetes.
