  • T1 KIDSAC

    A support and information pack for newly diagnosed families, including Rufus the bear with type 1 diabetes. Contains a copy of Type 1 Discovery magazine and a selection of JDRF leaflets, including Understanding type 1 - A pocket guide (A7); Finding the Cure (DL); Type 1 diabetes - A new diagnosis in the family (A5).

    Orders restricted to one per newly diagnosed child. You must give the name of the child, date of diagnosis and name of clinic in the 'further Information about you' section at the checkout or your order will not be processed. 

    We want to ensure that all children newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes are able to receive KIDSAC. Please note that we will not send out both a KIDSAC and a 'Type 1 - the basics' pack to one recipient. If you need more than one newly diagnosed pack please contact us directly.

    A handy pocket-sized fold-out guide to introduce type 1 diabetes to those who are not familiar with the condition. The leaflet gives basic information about type 1 diabetes including what it is and is not, how it is treated and how to spot and treat a hypo. This leaflet is perfect to give to friends and family. This version is suitable for families and children living with type 1 diabetes and is our most popular resource (an adult-focused version is also available).
