JDRF and Pingu join together in the fight against type 1 diabetes
Cheeky children's favourite, Pingu, is partnering with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in the fight against type 1 diabetes.
This partnership, which will run for the next three years, aims to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes and help JDRF raise funds to continue its research into finding the cure.

Pingu is the face of JDRF throughout 2010 and will feature extensively in JDRF's marketing and promotional activities. He has already been the guest of honour at the 2009 Walk to Cure Diabetes events in September. Pingu is the mascot of JDRF's running events in 2010. Over 130 'JDRF Team Pingu' runners took part in this year's Flora London Marathon. |
