Schools e-learning module

Take our free e-learning module for schools to learn more about supporting pupils with type 1 diabetes in educational settings

The incidence of type 1 diabetes is increasing by four per cent each year. Current legislation states that it is the duty of staff who work with children or young people living type 1 diabetes to support them appropriately.

To ensure staff have all the information they need, we have worked closely with the Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network and Virtual College to produce this module which is made up of two sections – ‘basic’ and ‘advanced’.

Free to register and CPD-certified

Both courses are available FREE of charge, take about an hour to complete and are CPD (Continuous Professional Development) certified.

On successful completion learners can download and print a certificate.
